Alpine’s Empowerment Agency offers nonclinical, recovery-oriented peer support for eligible youth and adults experiencing mental health and/or substance-use challenges. Peer professionals use relevant lived experience, specialized training, encouragement, and practical guidance to help participants identify personal recovery goals, strengthen coping and self-advocacy skills, connect with community resources, and build supportive routines.

Peer support may be provided as part of an individualized treatment or recovery plan and may complement Intensive Outpatient Program services. Peer support does not replace therapy, crisis intervention, medical care, or other clinically necessary treatment.
